The Property

This glorious c.1880 Hawthorn brick Victorian residence is situated in Kew with a location that is coveted for its proximity to excellent schools, Kew Junction, trams and freeway access. The proposed works include demolition of the rear portion of the existing building in order to accommodate a basement and ground-level extension, including an in-ground pool. The rest of the residence undergo a complete refurbishment including externally landscaping.

Whilst retaining the magnificent external features of the front portion of the residence, the proposed extension will be differentiated with a contrasting modern design. The interior designers have transformed the home with modern appointments such as engineered European oak timber flooring and a full height suspended feature stone wall.


About Time Projects was engaged initially as the development manager to prepare concepts and design documentation through to planning application. Through the development of the design and documentation of the project, we extended our role to manage the delivery of the project during the construction phase to project completion and handover. Our scope of services consisted of the complete management of the development, design and construction of this project.
