The Property

This ideal site at Dakota Park is situated within an industrial precinct adjacent to State Highway One and the Christchurch International Airport. The precinct is on the western side of Christchurch approximately 11 kilometres from Christchurch CBD and offers many benefits as part of an integrated precinct. There are established amenities for staff daily requirements including food and beverage outlets, local retail outlets, gym and pharmacy.

 

The Space

Purpose-built industrial facility consisting of 3,200 m² of temperature-controlled storage facility for high-value pharmaceutical products with a specialist cool room and secure drug storage vault. An architecturally designed administrative office including with full height glazed frontage with an integrated fit-out and outdoor staff courtyard.  

 

Services

About Time Projects was engaged to assist Symbion to seek a suitable site to relocate and amalgamate their operations in Christchurch. Acting as PM for the tenant, we managed the tendering process to a number of prospective Landlords and Developers. The successful bid was a new development at Christchurch International Airport and as the PM for the tenant, we managed the engagement, design and delivery of the facility. Scope of services included:

  • Assess potential sites and shortlist suitable developments;

  • Preparation of project brief and building specification documents for tendering purpose;

  • Assist with final selection and formal agreement with the property owner;

  • Monitor the design and construction of the building to meet Clients requirements;

  • Monitor programme and quality of works during construction phase;

  • Overarching supervision of local project management firm engaged to carry out the full tenant fit-out works including base building improvements to the warehouse facility;

  • An integrated fit-out of the administrative office including procurement of workstations, loose furniture, corporate branding and signage.
